Located in North Hollywood, The Hive became a haven for artistic freedom, equipped with state of the art technology and a commitment to independence. Over the years, it has been the birthplace of numerous albums, reflecting the band’s evolution and passion for music.
The Hive's Storied Past
Before 311 took the reins, The Hive was a vibrant music studio in the 1970s and 1980s, hosting notable acts like Missing Persons and Adam Ant. After a brief stint as a voice-over studio for films, it became a sanctuary for 311, where they recorded and mixed nine albums, including:
